A little more than a friend – Companion, three messengers by Bertil Vallien.
Throughout time, people have surrounded themselves with things that are said to have more power than “ordinary” objects. A rare stone, a sculptural piece of bone, a beautiful icon. Things that are not only a feast for the eyes, but also form some kind of friendship with their owners.
Bertil has designed something similar. He calls the collection Companion. Friends, colleagues. The faces in changing colours and with three different addresses. Yes. Hope. Love. The small sculptures can be hung on the wall where they are most needed. A little more than a friendship, in time even love. Companion.
